First The Alternative’s producer Andrew Holinsky
presented Live from Outfest 2010 Opening Gala at the Orpheum Theatre
in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, July 8th. The Gala honored
actress Jane Lynch as well as featured Howl starring James
Franco as Allen Ginsberg and written and directed by Jeffrey Friedman
and Rob Epstein. Next Sir Ivan Wilzig discussed his music, family,
and philanthropy. Then author Ellen Hart discussed her novels and
her place in modern culture as the only gay mainstream mystery writer
writing about gay characters.
Next, The Alternative aired a special interview
with Durk Dehner from the Erotic Art Fair on March 27,
2010 on preserving gay culture. Then Damian Pelliccione discussed
his acting career, WebTV Workshop, Hollywood’s first WebTV
School that he cofounded, and his new web series featuring gay superheroes,
Cartera. Last, Dean Hamer and Joe Wilson promoted their
new documentary Out in the Silence, which was featured
earlier in the day at Outfest. |

Art Fair Weekend sponsored by the Tom of Finland
Foundation held in West Hollywood, CA (March 27-28, 2010)
with interviews with some of the artists, model, collectors, and

Terry
Le Grand, has been a gay activist for many years and now
is the Co-Chair of ACT UP Southern California, he is a deist,
and believes that organized religion should not have a significant
place in the world today because it’s the cause of
most of the major problems of the world.
Terry
is the Executive Producer for Marathon Films and is currently
working on a new GAY themed theater presentation.
He is a retired
physician and Executive Director of a major AIDS Organization
in the Los Angeles area. He lives in North Hollywood with
his two cats, but shares his life with his two gay related
sons.
