JD Dragan’s silver gelatin photographic prints have
exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across the United
Sates and viewed around the world. His award winning male
nude photographs present non-objectified imagery of the male
nude genre depicting exclusively men of color; in an ever
expanding umbrella.
His work is in many private and public collections including
the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco, the Tom
of Finland Foundation in Los Angeles, Leslie-Lohman Art Foundation
in New York City and the Center for Fine Art Photography in
Colorado.
His images are licensed in a variety of products such as
greeting cards, and the 10percent Provocateur line of “Black”
calendars. He also has published in several journals including
“The Photo Review.”
The Rosa Lila Villa (Pink Lilac Villa) is a house for lesbians
and gays in Vienna. It was founded by their own initiative
in 1982. The house serves as an open community center and
a meeting-place.
Inside the villa is an information and counseling office
(ROSATIP/LILATIP). Many different groups with varying needs,
hold meetings and activities at the villa. Located on the
ground-floor is the "Willendorf" with a bar and
restaurant.
