Fletcher Prentice studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of
Art in Cornwall. Alongside his painting career he has successfully
built a freelance design business over the past decade that
has made him a household name and created an impressive client
base throughout the UK and abroad.
He has now returned to his favourite subject he painted throughout
the early years as an artist – the male figure –
and now works full time from his studio in Camberwell, London.
He constantly strives to balance on the one hand his fascination
with the object - using paint and enjoying the qualities of
paint, breaking down and semi-abstracting the subject matter
and surface - and on the other hand his desire to retain and
capture the natural beauty of the subject, be it the human
figure, an animal or a still life.
Fletcher has been exhibiting his work through various galleries
in London since the early 1990s and we are very much looking
forward to showing his latest paintings at Adonis Art in September!
