| According to legend, the veil between worlds is
the thinnest around Halloween. Passages between the worlds draw
wakes from one to the other.
Listen hard on Halloween;
You'll hear the church clock strike thirteen.
You'll know the veil has now grown thin.
Allowing the long lost souls to step in.
The moon will shine its silver glow,
The candlelit window lets them know.
You welcome them back to your table.
Feeding them as well as you are able.
Don't be afraid, for these souls are lonely.
Coming back to visit for reasons only.
To let you know what is to come.
When your life upon this earth is done.
Celebrate this sacred night,
With jack o' lanterns and candlelight.
Antebellum gallery continues it’s tradition of unique

About the gallery:
Antebellum Gallery is located in the heart of downtown
Hollywood. The term antebellum is Latin for"before war".
While it commonly refers to a more romantic Gone With the Wind
era, we find ourselves again today with American culture at odds
with political / religious / social agendas that threaten to blow
the lid off its foundations at any given moment.
Steeped in Victorian nuances with a salon style, Antebellum is intended
as a hybrid of artistic, cultural, and political iconoclasm. |
