BENT-CON: Flix After Dark

A special event during Bent-Con 2011, BENT-CON: Flix After Dark! It’s a festival within a festival, with even more special movie premieres, awesome guests and incredible fun! (And popcorn.)

What’s more, if you are already attending the festival, it doesn’t cost you anything extra! If you bought a Saturday-only pass, it’ll get you in to the event. If you bought a Sunday-only pass, you can come, too! Weekend passes? Like there’s any question you can attend. If you haven’t purchased a pass at all? It’s $15 dollars at the door — and you can come back on Sunday for the regular, day festival itself. It’s total and complete awesomeness on all fronts.

What is BENT-CON?
BENT-CON is the convention that encourages, celebrates and appreciates LGBT and LGBT-friendly comic-book, scifi, fantasy and horror artists, writers, creators, publishers, directors, actors, and producers, that create media targeted directly to LGBT audiences or the larger realm of underground and mainstream pop-culture as a whole.

But it’s just easier to think of it like a Comic-Con, only gayer…

BENT-CON is committed to encouraging the vast talent and creativity within a queer and queer-friendly environment for those passionate about sharing their respective talents with YOU — the Fans — New and not-so-new to the work found at this convention.

This year’s BENT-CON is shaping up to be bigger and better than the last! It runs December 3-4th at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California, the heart of the media, gaming, comic and pop-culture world!

The weekend event will be filled with exhibitors, guests, panels, film-viewings and parties and attended by names you’ll recognize from various creative industries. All it needs is YOU!

Call For Gallery Show Submissions

Artists! Please submit artwork for the gallery show at BENT-CON (December 3-4, 2011) .

Please include Artist Name, Title of Work, Medium and Dimensions with an image of the work. Indicate whether the piece is for sale, not for sale or for auction. Send submissions to: Dave Davenport.

You can bring the art with you the day of, but it must be wall-ready. This is also an opportunity for artists to show work who may not be exhibiting.
