— REX

Dress will be heavy. The art will be legendary.

This exhibit features graphic and highly sexual artwork.
(They wouldn’t have it any other way.)

Just in time for the Black Party, a presentation of the erotic art of REX, the controversial artist who created the logo for New York’s legendary leather bar, The Mineshaft. You may have seen Tom of Finland, but have you seen Rex?

This is the first time his “SEX FREAK CIRCUS” collection will be shown in completion since 1992 – and it’s not for the prudish! They’re slinging up all 12 pen-and-ink prints amid an environment of sex-circus spectacles and entertainment.

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
