Get intimately acquainted with over 20 magnificently muscled
models through the drawings of over 70 of New York's most
talented gay erotic artists. Boy Bordello, a provocative array
of masculine erotic images displayed to look as if they were
hanging on the walls of a "house of pleasure," opens
it's doors to the public at 6 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2007,
at the new Leslie/Lohman Gay Art Foundation Gallery in New
York, located at 26 Wooster Street (between Canal and Grand
Streets) in lower Manhattan's SOHO district.
The exhibition offers viewers an illuminating opportunity
to see each model through multiple lenses, with each artist
showing a distinctly individual appreciation for the men’s
striking sensuality while revealing deeper insights into their
personalities. It features over 200 sexually charged works
created in the past year by illustrators, painters, designers
and graphic artists in The Queer Men's Erotic Art Workshop,
a unique ongoing celebration of the masculine image. The sizzling
results speak for themselves.
