Ali is most noted for his erotic and haunting images of
the male nude, ranging from his classic, statuesque black
& white body shots to his more contemporary color-digitized
muses.
Ali has been living and working as a commercial and art hotographer
in South Florida, exhibiting his work in local and national
galleries.
Currently, Ali has been focusing his lens in the Wilton Manors
area, where he has reconnected with some of his friends and
peers, up-rooted “pioneers from the burgeoning days
of South Beach” and is laying the groundwork for new
contacts and gatherings of friends, models and a one year
amorous relationship.
Decades and Pet Project will host and welcome Ali to his new
home in Broward County with an evening filled with visual
delights from over two decades of Ali’s homo-erotic
work titled “XIBIT”.
Ali’s work has been published in several book anthologies
(The Male Nude by Taschen and Couples & Beasts by FotoFactory),
and international art publications (Blue and Provocateur).
