Neurosis is a common affliction… It describes the process by which emotional distress or unconscious conflict is expressed through a variety of issues, which may manifest through physical, physiological or mental symptoms. Neurosis causes anxiety, for the most part, and may interfere with the way in which one lives one’s life.

Eros is an equally common affliction among mankind. Love (both fulfilled and unrequited) and Lust… these provide much of the fodder for our neuroses. Eros most certainly causes anxiety and always interferes with the way in which one lives life, sometimes to our benefit, sometimes not.

Visions and Art and Discord invite artists to share their sexual obsessions and anxieties, loves, lusts and fetishes in our (NU)Erotic art exhibition. We are looking for works that inspire and enthrall; pieces that cause us to yearn for more and beg for release.
