With Transformations, Laliberté’s visual poeticism comes through with twenty new photographs featuring the juxtaposition of the male body and nature.
Renowned Quebec photographer Robert Laliberté has a career that has spanned over thirty years with fourteen group and twenty solo exhibitions under his belt. Among many notable achievements, he was awarded the 2002 Prix arc-en-ciel pour la culture by the Conseil des gais et lesbiennes du Québec. Well known for his distinct and sumptuous black and white style and often compared to photographers Herb Ritts and Robert Mapplethorpe, his photographs are in international public and private collections and have been published in numerous prestigious magazines.
