Marianne Hofstee (1950) represents so much of human life in her work that the title “•••••”is sufficient. Cedric Laquièze (1981) combines playful humor with imaginative joy. Animals are often presented in a playful manner in both his three-dimensional works and his drawings. Gena Ivanov (1968). His monochrome and polychrome prints are very spontaneous and fragile structures flowing from the nature of the material itself. The multiplicity of forms and counter forms in the lines of Fernando Madera (1983) continues to fascinate,both in his large and in his smaller artworks. Musk Ming (1979) surprises with european faces, while his Chinese drawing style remains unmistakable. Hay Wijnhoven (1958). Mariken van Nimwegen has sold her soul to the devil Moenen of Nijmegen. Moenen in the role of seducer is depicted on the linocut presented. The end result is alwyas a surprise.The crackle gives the sculptures a life of their own. And that’s all that matters for Simon Hof (1967).
